25 Hours a Day
The short film Cannonball was created as part of the Graduate Film Conservatory at Chapman University through a collaborative effort of alumni Mark Powell, Rachel Skidmore, Nathan Carrington, Ben Cox, and Roxanne Mobley. The five filmmakers spent over a year crafting what would become a laugh-out-loud, polished, blockbuster style, commercial comedy. Now that the film is complete -- including the addition of a major label soundtrack, thanks to Music Supervisor Anna Sherwood -- the group plans to showcase their film at festivals around the world.
Working with the Cannonball team & Humble Giants, I designed and coded the films website. The site needed to reflect the fun, exciting nature of the film, and needed to contain a high amount of copy. We focused on stylizing the site according to the Poster/Collateral we had already created. Moving from there I laid out the website in a classic format to house a large amount of text. The site features a smooth scroll to reinforce the fun, and central, "cannonball" aspect of the film (i.e the user is "plunging" into the site).
Visit Cannonball here.
